My name is Charlotte Dent. I am trained to degree level and have attained a BSc in Sports Therapy with honours. To achieve this I studied at the University of Luton (now University of Bedfordshire) for 3 years.
Following this I spent 3 years working at an injury clinic in Stratford-upon- Avon. There I dealt with many different kinds of injuries, from sciatica to tennis elbow, before starting my own business here in Coventry. At present I run my treatment sessions from home in the evenings.
Having spent time participating in sport from a young age I am aware of the different ways injuries can occur, which assists me in my diagnosis and treatment of injuries.
I have carried out post-competition massage at the London Marathon, the Flitwick 10Km run and the Coventry Half Marathon. I have provided Sports Therapy services to Luton Borough Ladies Football Club and Luton University Ladies Basketball Team. I have also attended work experience at West Midlands Fire Service and West Bromwich Albion Football Club.
I am a member of Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI).
