Following treatment a stretching programme will be formulated (if required) to assist with ongoing rehabilitation.
The techniques employed include:
Neuromuscular Technique (NMT) - Used to release tension created by the nervous system.
Soft Tissue Release (STR) - Effective in releasing severe soft tissue tension.
Muscle Energy Technique (MET) & Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) Stretching - Used to stretch muscle and surrounding tissue.
Ilio-Tibial Band Release (ITB Release) - A specific technique used to relieve tightness in the knee and hip area.
Deep Tissue Massage - Used to ease tension in muscles, tendons and fascia and stimulate the healing process.
Frictions - Used to separate adhesions in scar tissue and help to restore elasticity.
